There are no MVP awards in West Houston Wrestling Club. Starting this year, we will have a 100% award that every K-5th grade wrestler can win. 100% wrestlers will win a t-shirt and a trophy at the end of the year. To become a 100% wrestler, you have to collect 100 points.

 

1 Point: Every Practice Attended (43 possible points)

6 Points: Every Meet Attended (48 possible points)

 

2 Points: Every A

1 Point: Every B

1 Point: Every Book Read

 

5 Points: Wrestler of the Week Award -- Based on Attendence, Behavior, Work Ethic, Leadership, Discipline

3 Points: 1st Place

2 Points: 2nd Place

1 Point: 3rd Place

 

-1 Points: Sitting out of practice after 2 warnings

-5 Points: Sportsmanship violation at wrestling meet

-5 Points: Missing wrestling meet without warning

-10 Points: Disrespecting parents

 

Up to 10 Points at a time: Working hard, helping teammates at practice, showing excellent sportsmanship, being a leader at practice, going above and beyond
